FAQ

What data does the bot store?

For alert subscriptions, we store your Discord guild_id and channel_id only. No message content, user IDs, or server member data is collected or retained.

Is it free?

Yes, completely free. BreakCheck is funded by the Certified program for sellers. The bot will stay free.

How fast are scam alert notifications?

The bot polls for new verified alerts every 10 minutes. Once a report is verified by a BreakCheck moderator, your channel will see it within ~10 minutes.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email support@breakcheck.gg or submit a scam report and mention it's a bot issue in the description.

What permissions does the bot need?

Send Messages and Embed Links in the channels where you use it. No admin permissions required. For alert subscriptions, the bot only posts to the specific channel where you ran the command.
