BreakCheck
Two minutes of research before joining a break can save you hundreds of dollars. Here's exactly how to verify any seller using BreakCheck's public tools.
Go to /search and type the seller's name, username, or platform handle. BreakCheck indexes sellers across Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay, and Fanatics Live.
If the seller has a BreakCheck profile, you'll see their Trust Score, review count, certification status, and any active scam alerts.
The BreakCheck Trust Score is a 0–100 composite score that weighs:
A score above 80 is excellent. Below 50 warrants caution. Below 30 is a serious red flag.
BreakCheck Certified sellers have completed an identity verification and ethics review. To confirm a badge is real:
A seller who claims to be certified but can't provide a valid cert ID is faking it.
Sort reviews by 'Most Recent' and look at the 1-star and 2-star reviews. Look for patterns:
One bad review is noise. Three similar complaints in 30 days is a pattern.
Search for the seller in our scam alert database. You can filter by platform or seller name. Verified alerts are community-reported and moderated by BreakCheck — they represent confirmed complaints, not rumors.
BreakCheck allows sellers to verify their platform handles. A seller with a verified Whatnot handle on their BreakCheck profile has confirmed their cross-platform identity — much harder to fake than a social media bio.
